Two employees of the Bosshardt House visited the Anton Pick Museum in Hattem on the 9th of October, 2023. Major Bosshardt and artist Anton Pick were close friends for a long time. Anton created drawings for the booklet 'People of good will' in 1973. This booklet is still visible in what used to be major Bosshardt's room. The booklet tells the story of the work that the major did in Amsterdam, starting over 75 years ago.
After the drawings that Anton made for the booklet, he drew more of the major's work. During the visit of our employees at the Anton Pieck Museum, they had a tour through the museum and arrangements were made for a visit of the Anton Pieck Museum's employees to the Major Bosshardt House. This may be the start for a close friendship between the two museums, just as the major and Anton had.
